Key Industry Pain Points

The field operations industry includes land surveying, geological exploration, power line inspection, forestry investigation, security maintenance, oil and gas inspection, and emergency command. These operational environments involve extreme terrains and climates such as mountains, deserts, gobi, forests, grasslands, plateaus, oceans, and wilderness. They require devices with high environmental adaptability, positioning accuracy, communication capability, and battery life. Commercial-grade devices cannot support standardized digital operations in such scenarios:

• Poor Environmental Adaptability: Field‑operation environments are complex. Devices must endure extreme working conditions including heavy rain, snow, hail, wind‑sand erosion, high temperature, severe cold, intense ultraviolet radiation, salt‑water immersion and external impacts. Ordinary tablets cannot resist such harsh conditions with their sealing structure and housing materials. They are prone to failures such as water ingress, dust accumulation, screen malfunction, short‑circuit of internal components and power‑off caused by battery depletion.

• Lack of Scenario‑Specific Functionality: Field survey operations require precise collection of latitude‑longitude, elevation and bounding‑box coordinates of survey points, as well as rapid identification of unique‑identifier barcodes of facilities. Conventional tablets are equipped with low‑precision positioning modules and low‑accuracy scanning modules and fail to meet requirements for large‑scale mapping and high‑precision construction setting‑out surveys. Field lighting conditions are complex with strong glare and varying dim‑light environments, degrading display performance of ordinary screens and easily leading to operational errors.

• Poor Real‑Time Data Transmission: Mountainous areas, canyons, forests, Gobi deserts and remote regions often suffer weak or zero public‑network coverage. Ordinary devices cannot stably transmit field‑collected operational data, images and videos under signal‑loss conditions. This results in delayed data acquisition and obstacles in communication with back‑office personnel.

• Poor Battery Life & Portability: Field work often involves long‑distance hiking, with continuous operation frequently exceeding 8 hours. Ordinary tablets feature small‑capacity batteries without removable or hot‑swappable design and cannot sustain long‑duration field tasks. Improper dimensions and excessive weight increase operator fatigue and physical burden during field carrying.

• Inadequate Data Security: Surveying‑mapping data, pipeline data and inspection data collected on‑site are mostly confidential or sensitive. Ordinary devices cannot satisfy national cryptographic standards for encrypted data storage and transmission, bringing risks of data theft, tampering and leakage

Customized solutions

Use field operation-specific high-precision rugged tablets as mobile data collection, positioning navigation, and live video transmission terminals, adapting to extreme outdoor environments such as mountains, deserts, gobi, forests, plateaus, oceans, and wilderness. Cover the operational needs of surveying and mapping, power line inspection, geological exploration, forestry protection, and oil and gas inspection:

• Heavy‑Duty Protection for Extreme Field Operating Conditions Certified for IP67/IP68 water and dust resistance and compliant with MIL‑STD‑810G/H military‑grade drop and shock resistance standards. Built with high‑strength aerospace‑grade alloy and thickened rubber shock‑absorbing bezels. All interfaces are fitted with waterproof stoppers and alloy protective covers. It withstands heavy rain, snow, wind‑sand erosion, salt spray, impacts, vibration and free‑fall drops from 1.5 meters. A customizable ultra‑wide‑temperature variant ranging from ‑40℃ to 70℃ is available for extreme environments featuring high heat, severe cold, intense ultraviolet radiation and sharp temperature swings.

• High‑Precision Positioning & Display for Surveying‑Mapping Operations Equipped with the Qianxun RTK high‑precision differential positioning module, it supports multi‑constellation joint positioning of BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS and Galileo to deliver centimeter‑level positioning accuracy. It meets industry precision requirements for 1:500 large‑scale mapping, precise positioning of power transmission towers, construction setting‑out and pipeline surveying. The 10.1‑inch high‑definition sunlight‑readable touchscreen supports operation with thick gloves, wet hands and oil‑stained hands. CAD drawings, satellite imagery, operation tracks and collected data remain clearly visible under bright outdoor sunlight, darkness, rain and fog.

• Multi‑Mode Communication Ensures Data Transmission in Remote Areas It supports multi‑mode transmission including 5G, Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and satellite short‑message service. Equipped with high‑gain signal antennas, the device automatically switches to satellite mode in remote mountainous regions, forests, Gobi deserts and offshore zones with poor terrestrial network coverage. It guarantees stable transmission of field‑operation data, high‑definition images and videos. Integrated DMR digital two‑way radio enables field operators to maintain real‑time voice communication with dispatch centers and other work teams.

• Long Battery Life & Portability for Extended Field Work Standard‑equipped with a battery capacity above 10000 mAh, it adopts removable hot‑swappable batteries which can be replaced without powering down the device to support all‑day outdoor field operations. Adopting lightweight design, it is compatible with dedicated hand straps, waist mounts and backpack mounting brackets for easy carrying during hiking, mountain climbing and wading. Abundant industrial‑grade interfaces are reserved for connecting high‑definition cameras, infrared thermal imagers, soil sensors, barcode scanners and RFID readers to satisfy data‑collection requirements across diverse industries.

• Data Security Assurance Compliant with Confidential‑Data Standards The device implements national commercial cryptographic algorithms SM2/SM3/SM4. Combined with fingerprint recognition, NFC identity authentication and digital‑watermark functions, it prevents tampering and leakage of confidential surveying‑mapping, inspection and exploration data throughout collection, transmission, storage and usage. It supports physically isolated sensitive interfaces and remote data wiping to secure confidential information and fully comply with industry data‑security standards.
